From time to time, the Squad auctions items donated to us, excess inventory or simply things we no longer need. eBay refunds its fees for completed auctions so the full amount of your purchase goes to support the Springfield First Aid Squad as we provide ambulance service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at no charge to our patients.
If your winning bid is above the fair-market value, you may be able to deduct the difference. (Consult your tax advisor for more information.)
If you have any questions or comments, please e-mail ebay@springfieldfas.org
Do you sell on eBay? The eBay Giving Works program allows you to designate the Springfield First Aid Squad as a beneficiary of your auction.
You may designate a percentage of your auction's proceeds to go to the Springfield First Aid Squad when creating your auction listing. eBay and MissionFish will take care of sending your donation to us and eBay will even give you a pro-rated credit on their auction fees based on how much you are donating. (MissionFish will, however, keep a portion of your donation to pay for their services.)
Note that these auctions are between the buyer and seller and the Springfield First Aid Squad is not involved in the transaction except as a beneficiary of a donation after the auction completes to the satisfaction of both parties. We do not control who chooses to support us and do not endorse any buyers, sellers or products.
