Ambulances

The Squad owns and operates two ambulances, referred to as 58 and 59.

58 was originally built on a Ford E-350 chasis by P. L. Custom Body and delivered to the Squad in May of 1995. In early 2004, the Squad had the old ambulance box remounted onto a 2003 Ford E-450 chasis.

59 was built on a Chevrolet G3500 chasis, by Braun Industries, and delivered in October of 2007 by First Priority Emergency Vehicles. This purchase was made possible through a generous contribution from Investors Savings Bank Charitable Foundation, from the trade-in of our 1997 Ford ambulance (the previous-generation 59) and from money from the Squad's capital reserves, collected through the donations from members of the public.
